Truth & Consequences is a story about
a 15 year-old boy name Ray Ray who makes a decision to have sex with an 11th grade girl by the name of Sherry. Ray Ray knew the potential consequences of having unprotected sex but the pressure from an older beautiful girl clouds his judgment. This play deals with peer pressure and the emotional consequences after making
a decision without considering all of the consequences. watch video clip

The Educational Training Concert is designed for Middle and High School students.
It provides skills to empower youth to make life-enhancing choices to prevent HIV infection and risky behaviors that may affect them and others.
It also meets the Coordinated School Health Specialist guidelines regarding HIV Prevention and it satisfies the Alabama Resolution for HIV/AIDS and the Code of Alabama Abstinence-Only Programs and curriculums. watch video clip

The youth Rap Session is an intense conversation about making decisions.
Teenagers talk about why they chose to abstain and the challenges they face. Another group of teens talk about why they did not wait and the challenges they face. This conversation deals with the reality of the beliefs and values that shape behaviors in our youth.

DYD 4-Step Process

1. Educational Training Concert to create an awareness of present behaviors’ consequences and benefits.

2. To equip each student with the CD to repeatedly hear choices benefits, and consequences through conversational storytelling rap, poetry, skits, singing, and motivational teaching in the comfort of their own environment.

3. The book provides a visual illustration and quotes of the concept of life being a journey and decisions being the roads that lead us to our destiny or destruction.

4. The Journal workbook gives hands on practical information that can be applied to the decision-making process.

DYD is not just to help eliminate consequences but to change attitudes, form healthy values that create healthy lives long after the teen years.
